Our leading western suburban Chicago law firm has an immediate need for a detail-oriented file clerk/back-up receptionist to join its Estate Planning Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing daily office tasks such as filing, recording, maintaining records, copying, posting, and other similar duties, using a computer terminal, typewriter, and other word processors. Follows organization and department procedures to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks
Qualifications:
- Document scanning experience (preferred, but willing to train the right candidate)
- Receive and prepare documents for scanning
- Strong attention to detail to ensure documents are scanned with high quality Internal customer support and communication to arrange document shipments
- Able to lift boxes weighing 40 to 50 lbs.
- Possess basic computer skills (basic data entry, understanding of Windows applications)
- 1 year office experience
