Final Assembly Operator - Boyd Corporation : Job Details

Job DescriptionEssential Duties Include: * Inspect products to verify conformance to customer specifications.* Complete Progress report -- identify the job and the starting time* Review the Work Order for special instructions* Assure the set-up is correct for the job* Assure the station layout, tags and labels are appropriate for the job* Complete Sign-Off check list and have it signed by the appropriate person* Inspect parts -- assure patents and margins are correct with no blotches* Perform hand manipulation when required -- peeling waste off the part* Rework, repair, and replace damaged parts or assemblies.* Set and verify parts clearances.* Verify conformance of parts using measuring instruments such as punch box or templates.* Cut trim parts for assembly.* Examine completed workpieces for defects such as chipped edges and marred surfaces.* Set up, operate, or tend machines to slit or punch material.* Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience:* High School Diploma* Manufacturing experience is preferred.
