Finance/Accounting Manager

LLOYD, Inc., a progressive pharmaceutical company in Southwest Iowa is seeking a person to fill our Finance/Accounting Manager. The company is a well-established manufacturer and marketer of pharmaceutical and nutritional products, has been in business for over 60 years and employs approximately 105. Operations are currently certified for both animal and human products.

The Finance/Accounting Manager is responsible for a broad spectrum of finance and accounting functions, e.g. financial reporting and planning, analyzing financial data, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, budgeting, and monitoring expenditures. The qualified candidate Finance/Accounting Manager must have extensive knowledge and experience in generally recognized accounting principles, financial planning, risk assessment, and accessing operational efficiencies. This position will directly report to the COO and will be responsible for managing the accounting department.

The successful candidate will possess at least a B.S. or B.A. degree in accounting or business administration with 5 to 10 years of Financial Management Experience. Preferred is an advanced degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration with a CPA status and current experience in a healthcare company.

Remuneration is negotiable and based on qualifications and experience.
