GENERAL DUTIES
As a key member of The City College of New York (CCNY) management team, the Finance Budget Director will oversee the college's budgeting and financial planning responsibilities. The role reports to the College's Chief Financial Officer and will be called to present to the college's Operational Leadership Teams. In addition, the Finance Budget Director may serve on various committees related to CCNY and CUNY. They will be a visionary, incorporate innovative practices into strategies and formulate financial operating plans while collaborating with other college financial executives. In addition, the role requires resource allocation, execution, and performance measurement. The qualified candidate will be a dynamic leader that has experience building high performing teams and values teamwork while leading with inspiration and collaboration. The Finance Budget Director will work with City College executives and department administrators, faculty, staff, and external constituents by employing industry best practices and having a data driven mindset. This position provides regular financial management updates to the executive levels. As a financial leader, the candidate will play an important part in communicating the financial message to the campus. They will assist with the execution of programs and policies and will contribute to the development of a long-range vision for the campus.
The Finance Budget Director will report to the Vice President of Finance and Administration at The City College of New York. In addition to the CUNY title overview duties, tasks include but are not limited to:

Bachelor's degree and eight years of related experience required.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary Range: $132,987 - $141,858. Salary commensurate with education and experience.
