Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with several finance sources, factory and otherwise.
  • Submit paperwork to and obtain approval from finance sources on all finance deals.
  • Work with Sales Managers to ensure a reasonable profit from every sale.
  • Handle all rate quotations. Establish and meet monthly objectives.
  • Instruct salespeople in the methods of selling finance.
  • Increased dedication with individual F&I Managers to guide and coach selling habits, process in handling deals, administrative responsibilities, etc
  • Individually holding consistent self-audits and communicating with GSM and EVP on any issues found
  • Running a bi-weekly meeting with GSM and EVP to go through personnel issues, deals, innovative ideas for the department, new banks, etc
  • Research and presenting any new F&I products, ideas, and/or processes that will help support the department
  • Monitoring charge backs to be at an acceptable level
  • Monitoring registration refunds that we are sending back to our customers as well as keeping F&I Managers accountable on this process
  • Managing and monitoring an after sales finance process
  • Working with Controller on any and all accounting processes pertaining to the department
Qualifications:
  • Experienced Automotive Business/F&I Manager, or 2+ years in a successful automotive sales position
  • Strong attention to detail and 100% compliance with legal and regulatory rules
  • Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures.
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Desire to achieve and succeed Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Willingness to work with a team Proven track record in a previous Sales and/or F&I Management role
  • Will work at desk in an office setting. Computer knowledge is necessary. May be required to leave the dealership occasionally to contact finance sources.
Evening, holiday and weekend work hours will be required
