The Shed is a new cultural institution of and for the 21st century. In our highly adaptable building on Manhattan's west side, The Shed brings together established and emerging artists to create new work in fields ranging from pop to classical music, painting to digital media, theater to literature, and sculpture to dance. ABOUT THE POSITIONThe Shed seeks a skilled, non-profit finance professional with an appreciation for the arts to join our dynamic, fast-paced, and accomplished team. Successful applicants must be highly detail-oriented, organized, collaborative problem solvers who are driven to creative solutions. The Finance Manager plays a key role in coordinating The Shed's organizational accounting and is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the general ledger. Each Finance Team member is trained across the department to be able to step in where needed. The Finance Manager will report to the Controller.
