Finance Manager - Robert Half : Job Details

Manufacturing client in North Houston is seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Manager with at least 4+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling This individual will play a critical role in building financial models from scratch and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. Experience in the manufacturing or oil field services industries is essential for success in this role.

Finance Manager Responsibilities:

• Develop and build complex financial models from the ground up to support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and operational analysis.
• Analyze financial data, interpret trends, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and drive financial objectives.
• Conduct variance analysis, identifying key drivers of performance, and develop actionable insights.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Prepare presentations and financial reports for executive leadership.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members as needed, fostering a collaborative and growth-focused environment.

Finance Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in finance or financial analysis, with expertise in financial modeling.
• Strong background in manufacturing or oil field services is required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with OneStream and ERPs is a plus.
