What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company's long-term objectives and growth plans.
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and expense management, ensuring they align with both departmental needs and company goals.
- Collaborate with department leaders to develop and manage budgets that balance operational needs with company-wide financial health.
- Track spending against budgets and provide analysis and recommendations to department heads for optimal resource allocation.
- Oversee the accounting team and ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
- Drive financial planning and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Optimize cash flow management and develop capital structure strategies.
- Present financial results and insights to the executive team and board of directors.
- Implement and maintain robust financial systems and processes.
- Champion Open Book Management practices by sharing financial information across the organization and educating employees on key metrics that drive business success.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles in high-growth technology companies.
- CPA or MBA preferred.
- Proven expertise in financial leadership for scaling companies, with demonstrated success in optimizing budgets and aligning spend with business objectives.
- Excellence in financial modeling, forecasting, analysis and strategic planning.
- Outstanding leadership, management skills, and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Superior communication skills and ability to present complex financial information clearly.
- Experience with financial software and systems implementation.
- Strong business acumen and strategic decision-making capabilities, with the ability to align financial strategy with long-term business goals.
