SummaryAs a key member of Aspen's Finance team, this role provides crucial support to the Global Operations organization. This role is responsible for centralized reporting and the consolidation of Aspen's global supply chain and manufacturing activities, ensuring alignment and consistency across the business. This role is onsite and based in Caledonia, MI.In This Position, You Will Have the Opportunity To (additional duties may be assigned)
- Corporate Reporting & Alignment. Guide the Aspen global manufacturing and supply chain organization to align corporate reporting. Ensure consistency in financial performance reporting across manufacturing sites, distribution centers, and global services. Perform consolidation reporting for the global operations group.
- Business Planning and Forecasting. Lead the annual business planning and periodic forecasting processes in collaboration with manufacturing site finance leaders and supply chain owners. Set timelines, expectations, and facilitate the roll-up and consolidation of reports across the global operations group.
- Partnership and Collaboration. Partner with the COO, Global Operations, and Finance leaders to provide clear insights and understanding of financial performance and results. Facilitate strategic discussions and decision-making based on financial data.
- Continuous Improvement. Drive continuous improvement in operational reporting capabilities by leveraging tools such as PowerBI, Planful, and IFS. Promote the adoption of these tools across the global organization to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Special Projects and Ad Hoc Reporting Support. Provide financial insight and leadership for special projects as needed. This includes financial modeling, annual standard costing, systems implementation, capital investment financial analysis, and integration projects.
What You Need to Succeed in This Position
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- 10+ years of progressive financial reporting experience in a manufacturing organization.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.). Experience with financial tools like PowerBI, Planful, and IFS is an advantage.
- A self-starter with the ability to define problems, identify solutions, and follow through to completion.
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with a wide range of stakeholders across the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities effectively, focusing on the most important tasks and delivering results.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills to maintain accuracy and consistency in reporting and analysis
