Job Description :

As the Manager of Finance Operations, O2C, you will oversee cash collections across the Americas, manage the O2C process for non-standard agreements, and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the order-to-cash (O2C) life cycle. Your leadership will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our accounts receivable operations, fostering operational excellence and continuous improvement in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Collections Oversight:

  • Lead and manage the credit and collections team for the Americas, ensuring timely and effective receivables collection.
  • Help develop and implement strategic collection processes and workflows to support the company's objectives.
  • Address complex collections issues such as misapplied payments, billing discrepancies and bad debt escalations.
Non-Standard Agreements:
  • Oversee the tracking, billing, and reporting of revenue on non-standard agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
  • Collaborate with sales, legal, and finance teams to interpret and execute these agreements effectively.
  • Maintain comprehensive records and documentation including contract terms, billing schedules, and monthly revenue figures.
Process Improvement and Automation:
  • Analyze O2C data to identify trends and areas for improvement and in turn implement best practices to enhance department efficiency and accuracy.
  • Serve as a change agent and process innovator, utilizing project management skills to drive cross-functional improvement initiatives.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
  • Conduct financial analysis to assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
  • Develop management reports for daily, weekly, and monthly tracking of accounts receivable performance, utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs).
Compliance and Controls:
  • Ensure compliance with credit policies, regulatory requirements, and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) controls.
  • Implement additional operational controls as necessary to mitigate risk and enhance process integrity.
Team Leadership and Development:
  • Elevate the AR and collections teams through hands-on development and coaching.
  • Set performance goals and provide regular feedback to team members to ensure high levels of engagement and achievement.
  • Foster a customer-centric culture, promoting collaboration with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Senior Leadership.
Responsibilities
  • Look for process improvement and opportunities to automate tasks to streamline the order to cash process.
  • Enhance the control environment around the order to cash cycle by identifying pain points and establishing guidelines that improve accuracy & efficiency
  • Lead and manage a team of specialists and coordinators and organize regular team meetings to discuss updates, challenges, and performance. Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities.
  • Work closely with finance, accounting, and sales teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.
  • Support initiatives from senior leadership on new products, workflows and brand integration with a focus on best practises on absorbing into the order to cash process
  • Analyze O2C data to identify trends and areas for improvement and in turn implement best practices to enhance department efficiency and accuracy.
  • Prepare and present KPI's and findings to senior management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration OR significant relevant experience.
  • 7-10 years of prior Billing/Finance experience in Accounts Receivable with proven track records including at least 3+ years in a supervisory or team capacity.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret billing data and identify trends and provide commentary and recommendations as such
  • Additional Languages Preferred but not required

Compensation ranges for candidates in locations outside of the location(s) below may differ based on the cost of labor, market, and additional factors. The pay range for this position is below: •90,000 - 110,000 per year in New York Note: Commission-eligible roles are expressed as on-target earnings (base and commission). Non-commission roles are expressed as base salary only but are also eligible for annual incentives.
