Harrison Gray Search has partnered with a $25B independent RIA to find their next Financial Advisor in Indianapolis, IN. The Financial Advisor is the primary manager of client relationships and provides support to senior advisors. This position is responsible for initiating new business, managing existing client relationships, formulating, and implementing financial advice. The role may involve working with technical specialists to develop recommendations in specific areas of expertise. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as co-advisor or lead advisor on existing clients.
  • Ensure the profitable delivery of service models as defined by internal guidelines.
  • Participate in and/or lead client onboarding processes, such as discovery interviews and future planning discussions.
  • Own and manage client relationships, with a focus on client retention and satisfaction.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and the planning team.
  • Assist in new client relationship development and participate in planning meetings for prospective clients.
  • Coordinate workflow and follow-up processes for new clients.
  • Generate new revenue through existing client relationships or new prospects.
  • Develop and maintain a network of referral sources and centers of influence to support business development efforts (e.g., attorneys, previous clients, community networking opportunities).
  • Perform additional duties as needed.
  • Support team members by filling in and assisting where required.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in investment management, financial planning, or related financial services roles.
  • Certified Financial Plannerâ„¢ designation preferred or required to be obtained within two years of hire.
  • Expertise in financial planning, wealth management, and client relationship management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial planning software.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented individual with strong communication and listening skills.
