This position supports the operational and functional areas of Fresh Thyme Market by providing financial analysis and proactive business partnering to their designated support areas. Establishes, interprets, analyzes and presents complex accounting and financial information, while working under minimum supervision.*Position follows hybrid schedule: Monday-Wednesday in Downer's Grove office, Thursday-Friday flexible/remote days.*

What You'll Be Doing:
- Creates and evaluates strategic financial models of proposed business solutions (ROIs, BVAs, Proformas)
- Provides financial support to the operational and functional business areas they support and serves as their business partner
- Provides proactive guidance on business performance and appropriate financial solutions
- Analyzes complex business and financial issues and is able to summarize and communicate them effectively to their respective internal customers.
- Creates and evaluates performance scorecards of different business activities
- Creates new processes and leads process improvements on large scale cross functional projects

What You Bring With You (Qualifications):
- Bachelor of Accounting/Finance degree
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting or financial related business experience.
- Exceptional communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Thorough understanding of U.S. GAAP and its application
- Ability to perform financial modeling
- Project management skills a plus
- Fluent in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, and the ability to work effectively in multiple business information systems
- Extensive knowledge of retail department functions and how other departments affect the Companys financial statements
