Financial Analyst - Startup Company (Stealth Mode) : Job Details

Our company is building fundamentally new technology to extend Moore's Law beyond the limits of Silicon. You will be working to build a company with a breakthrough technology that will be used in the first computers to go beyond silicon.

A successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who can partner effectively with a high caliber team on the day to day responsibilities utilizing strong communication, collaboration, technical expertise, attention to detail, and analytical skills to ensure accurate and efficient financial management.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial models
• Provide FP&A finance support to the business teams regarding productivity, demand planning, reporting, and financial metrics
• Partner with the accounting team during the close process
• Develop and maintain financial models for various business units and projects
• Budgeting the expenses needed to execute corporate plans
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis
• Conduct necessary account and system reconciliations
• Review financial reports, presentations, and other management reporting needs

Desired Experience, Skills and Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience with a very strong preference for experience in high technology companies. Preferred industries are semiconductors, semiconductor equipment, storage and disk drives, telecom equipment
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel and financial software applications
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
• Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

*The US, California salary will be based on a number of factors including level and will vary depending on knowledge, skills and experience; $99,000 - $160,000
