Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst. This role will focus on financial modeling, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and supporting various projects across our real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate property performance, potential acquisitions, and investment opportunities.
- Forecasting: Prepare short-term and long-term financial forecasts for individual assets and the overall portfolio.
- Cash Flow Analysis: Analyze property-level and portfolio-level cash flow statements to provide insights into financial health and operational efficiency.
- Project Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various initiatives, including acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, and refinancing efforts.
- Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that impact property performance and investment decisions.
- Reporting: Create and present detailed financial reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and investors.
- Scenario Analysis: Perform sensitivity and scenario analyses to assess the impact of changes in market conditions, financing terms, or operational strategies.
- Portfolio Monitoring: Assist in tracking and evaluating key performance metrics for assets under management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the real estate industry.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced modeling techniques.
- Familiarity with real estate financial software (e.g., Argus, Yardi) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and presenting findings.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of real estate investment metrics, such as IRR, NPV, and cap rates.
- Understanding of commercial real estate markets and property valuation methods.
- Experience in collaborating with stakeholders across various disciplines (e.g., asset management, property management, and development).
