Financial Analyst - Lancesoft : Job Details

Job Title: Financial Analyst

Location: Hybrid (New York City, NY)

Duration: 11+ months (with potential to extend)

Pay Rate: $45-50/Hour on W2

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Analyze and work with large sets of financial data, focusing on mortgage-backed securities and other structured debt instruments.

Conduct waterfall cash-flow modeling and bond math analysis.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the data is processed accurately and efficiently.

Use Excel to create detailed financial models and reports.

Review structured debt transactions and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Assist with the preparation and presentation of financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Required Skills / Experience:

Education Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Preferred: BA/BS degree in Math or Computer Science.

Software Skills Required:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including financial modeling, advanced formulas, etc.).
