Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and eager-to-learn Financial Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. This position requires an individual with a strong background in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), who is comfortable working with manual processes and is highly proficient in Excel. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for financial data, with the ability to analyze pricing, financial, and income statements, and support various stakeholders across the business. The role also involves managing and working with ERP systems, specifically Dynamics 365 (D365) experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and review pricing structures, financial performance, and income statements to provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Manage and maintain data integrity within ERP systems (D365 preferred). Support any related system updates and troubleshooting.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for improving financial processes, increasing efficiency, and ensuring alignment with best practices.
  • Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial reports, ensuring timeliness and accuracy in all deliverables.
  • Support and streamline manual financial processes as needed, ensuring consistency and accuracy in execution.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or related finance roles.
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas, and data analysis).
  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Dynamics 365 (D365).
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze large datasets and identify trends and discrepancies.
  • Ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new challenges.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with financial analysis in a corporate environment.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Experience supporting or managing manual finance processes.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
