BASIC FUNCTION: The Financial Analyst serves as a member of the Finance Department at GRHD, reporting to the Controller. They provide data-driven insights and financial modeling to support strategic decisions, operational efficiency, and budget management. This includes conducting cost-benefit analyses, forecasting financial performance, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and collaborating with various stakeholders to align financial goals with organizational objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Perform cost benefit analysis for business and/or equipment proposals. Work with directors to gather accurate data, prepare pro forma analysis with detailed calculations, assumptions and recommendations.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of the annual budget.
- Provide financial forecasts and variance analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with department directors to ensure financial targets are met and provide financial insights to support their operations.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed.
- This position requires the ability to produce efficient spreadsheets supporting analysis and must be able to work with all types of individuals including management.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field, or equivalent work experience, required
- Master's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 2 - 5 years of work experience in a similar role
- 1 or more years of experience in a hospital accounting position preferred.
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems required.
SALARY INFORMATION: - $29.57 - $74.50 Dependent on experience may vary outside this range
