Job Description
Responsible for providing advanced analytical support to all Genting Americas properties and departments. The Financial Analyst III will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive financial analysis, strategic insights, and decision support to senior management. This position is crucial in assessing and monitoring the performance of each property through complex financial modeling and trend analysis, contributing significantly to the organization's overall financial health. Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties
• Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and other strategic planning initiatives.
•Provide financial analysis assistance throughout Genting Americas, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling, to identify key business drivers and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data by maintaining organized and reliable financial data systems.
•Utilize and leverage financial modeling tools, particularly Anaplan, to enhance analytical processes and develop advanced dashboards.
• Lead and participate in special projects, providing financial expertise and insights.
• Achieve and maintain Level 2 Model Builder (or higher) certification in Anaplan.
• Demonstrate proficiency in SQL and Excel, employing best practices for each application, including Excel shortcuts and SQL code documentation.
Work/Educational Experience
•Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Statistics, Math, or related area with a quantitative emphasis required o OR four (4) years' related work and/or educational experience conducting detailed statistical, or data analysis required.
•Advanced Degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Math, or related area with a quantitative emphasis is preferred.
•Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
