What you get to do:The Financial Analyst, Sr. will assist with reporting and automation projects related to cost tracking, planning, and other strategic initiatives as assigned. This position will routinely work with varying levels of management at both the corporate office and the parks. You will:
- Assist in the development of the annual budget for both corporate departments and all parks across the SeaWorld portfolio
- Assist parks in tracking operating costs, budgeting and forecasting all levels of operating expense
- Assist in the development of automated reports and templates
- Conduct analysis on key metrics across SEA's operating parks
- Identify trends in the business and present findings and recommendations to leadership team
- Lead special projects and other duties as assigned
What it takes to succeed:- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- MBA or Master's degree in finance preferred
- Proven ability to balance multiple projects with competing deadlines
- 3-4 years of relevant business experience (e.g., financial planning and analysis, cost analysis, accounting)
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong understanding of financial statements
- Ability to conduct ad hoc business analysis
- Ability to communicate financials to non-financial individuals
- Excellent analytical, financial, and mathematical skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong written/verbal communication skills; able to read, write and speak English.
- Experience with SAP and Business Objects or other data warehouse tools preferred
