The Financial Associate provides day-to-day financial & accounting support to the Office of the President and the Institute Finance Support Team, typically involving processing and maintenance that requires application of accounting practices; Adhering and proposing standards of operation, policies, protocols, and procedures to ensure compliant, effective, and efficient operations.
ResponsibilitiesJob Duty 1: - Performs data entry in HR and financial systems to include spreadsheets and databases Job Duty 2: - Assists with special projects, including compiling and analyzing portions of reports per prescribed direction Job Duty 3: - Process, maintain and reconcile transactions in enterprise system Job Duty 4: - Answer inquiries and provide information to faculty, students, staff and the public on fiscal policies and procedures Job Duty 5: - Prepare or assist in preparing various financial or administrative reports Job Duty 6: - Assist with audits and ensuring financial practices comply with regulatory standards Job Duty 7: - Coordinate and process vendor payments Job Duty 8: - Prepare travel and expense reports and process payments Job Duty 9: - Adhere, propose, and ensure standards of operation, policies, protocols, and procedures to ensure compliant, effective, and efficient operations and other duties as assigned.

Proposed SalaryThis is a hybrid, non-exempt position. The proposed salary is $19.98-$30.76

Additionally required are attention to detail and accuracy and use of office and specialized accounting related computer applications.
