SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a temporary Financial Consultant for its client in Grand Rapids, MI. The person will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the implementation of key financial functions-management accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and internal audit-into a new ERP system. The role requires a leader with the ability to manage these functions while ensuring the ERP system is configured effectively to support operational efficiency and compliance.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead ERP Implementation: Oversee the integration of accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and internal audit into the new ERP system, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance.
- Team Management: Supervise the accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and internal audit teams, ensuring smooth operation during the ERP implementation.
- System Configuration: Ensure ERP system configurations meet financial reporting, payroll, and audit needs, optimizing for efficiency and accuracy.
- Training & Support: Provide training to staff and create documentation to support the transition to the new system.
- Project Management: Monitor project progress, report on milestones, and ensure the implementation is on track.
- Post-Implementation Support: Lead post-launch support and continuous optimization of the ERP system.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus.
- 7+ years of Financial Consultant experience with a focus on ERP implementations, financial functions and team management.
- Strong experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) in financial functions.
- Proven management skills with excellent communication and project management abilities.
