This company is at the forefront of supply chain and working capital solutions, reshaping financial support for sectors driving global commerce. They're seeking an experienced Vice President, Controller, who brings robust balance sheet and inventory accounting expertise to their team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and ensure the accuracy of general ledger accounts, overseeing monthly close processes and portfolio valuation.
- Support inventory accounting and related transactions, leveraging experience with large-scale balance sheets
- Develop budgets and forecasts, perform cost analysis, and provide insights for variance management.
- Supervise cash flow, liquidity reporting, and manage AP processes through a third-party workflow system.
- Lead initiatives for process optimization, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Work with auditors and tax teams to ensure transparency and adherence to U.S. GAAP standards.
- Mentor and guide finance team members, fostering collaboration and alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years in public/private accounting, and a background in from the Big 4 would be a plus
- CPA qualified would be a plus
- Proficiency in managing large-scale balance sheets and inventory, ideally with exposure to manufacturing environments
