Financial Controller - Refresco : Job Details

Position Description

The Financial Controller is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial results and safeguarding of assets for a multi-line plant. This role is a key member of the Operations Management team, providing comprehensive financial leadership to the Plant Management team and overseeing accounting, reporting, and inventory control. The Financial Controller also plays a crucial role in forecasting, budget planning, and capital expenditure analysis. In addition, this position involves supporting operational and financial improvement initiatives, managing direct reports, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and corporate policies.

Key Accountabilities:

• Accurate and timely financial reporting
• Balance sheet oversight and reconciliation
• Forecasting & budget planning
• Capital expenditure analysis and reporting
• Compliance with internal controls and corporate policies
• Statutory reporting as required
• Supporting operational and financial results improvement
• Managing and developing direct reports

Educational and Experience:

• B.S. / B.A. degree in Accounting
• CPA, CMA or equivalent designation
• Manufacturing/costing experience
• Staff management experience
• 5-7 years related work experience in manufacturing or industrial environment

Skills and Competencies:

• IT Literate (Microsoft Office)
• ERP System experience (SAP preferred)
• Strong analytical skills
• Proven strategic problem solving skills
• High level of accountability
• Ability to work independently and handle tight deadlines
• Financial analysis skills
• US GAAP/IFRS knowledge
