The Financial Leadership Development Program (FLDP) is one of The Cigna Group's rotational programs for MBA candidates who aspire to join a growth-oriented company and take part in the healthcare industry revolution. **Your Financial Leadership Development Program (FLDP) summer experience will include: **

  • Work on a project (10-12 weeks) aligned to our business priorities and growth strategies in areas like corporate strategy & development, financial planning & analysis, healthcare pricing, treasury/capital management, accounting/audit, underwriting, and more.

  • Receive mentorship from an assigned full-time Financial Leadership Development Program associate.

  • Act as a key trusted advisor and have a direct, quantitative impact on business results during your internship. 

  • Exposure to senior leaders with focused mentorship, coaching, and professional networking throughout your summer at Cigna 

  • Tailored training opportunities, technical, and professional to help you with your career development. 

  • Understanding of key stakeholders within the healthcare ecosystem, as well as our diverse customer segments and distribution channels

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a fulltime Masters of Business Administration program 

  • 3-5 years of professional experience

  • Aptitude to work in a variety of functions and environments, with strategic and global mindset 

  • Desire to pursue a career in the health care industry 

  • Evidence of strong analytic problem-solving abilities, innovative thinking, communication skills, and business acumen 

  • Initiative and dedication to growth into a multi-talented business leader 

  • Proven track record of delivering results and influencing across a matrixed organization 

  • One goal of this internship program is to prepare and identify qualified candidates for roles with Cigna post-graduation. Therefore, this temporary internship is open only to individuals who are eligible for employment in the United States after college graduation and who would not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Locations : Bloomfield, CT (The Cigna Group Headquarters), Philadelphia, PA, St. Louis, MO

Work Authorization:

One goal of this internship program is to prepare and identify qualified candidates for roles with Cigna post-graduation. Therefore, this temporary internship is open only to individuals who are eligible for employment in the United States and who would not require visa support including H-1B, CPT/OPT/STEM, etc., now or in the future.

Market Range: $52/hour depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
