About the RoleWe are looking for a Financial Operations Manager who is data-driven and has strong analytical & technical skills. In this role, you will work with the Money product team and will play a key role in product andoperational decision making. You'll work closely with product, engineering, operations and risk teams, and interact with business stakeholders across many departments.Goals will be based around maintaining a seamless user experience.   • Work closely with all teams to evaluate and monitor key financial metrics.
  • Deep dive into past and ongoing trends and provide data driven insights to create solutions to ensure a seamless flow of funds between Grid, its partners, and customers.
  • Build monitoring to track performance across relevant dimensions and create alerts to highlight any anomalies.
  • Leverage data to influence key business decisions.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to build a seamless customer experience.To thrive in this role you have:
    • Great analytical intuition, advanced Microsoft Excel, and SQL skills.
    • Experience forecasting trends.
    • Experience with banking systems and payment methods.
    • Exceptional detail orientation, organizational skills and curiosity; you are eager to solve challenging analytical problems for the business.
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitatively rigorous discipline like engineering, statistics, math, or economics is preferred.
    • A passion for Grid's mission.Bonus:
      • Advanced degree in any field relevant to Statistics, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
      • Previous experience in FinTech and/or risk analysis.
      • On-the-job understanding of finance, accounting and taxes.
      • Startup experience.Salary: $70,000 - $120,000 a yearBenefits:
