Job Summary:The Financial Planning Analyst will support multiple teams across the organization with financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis to inform strategic decision-making and financial planning.Job Goals:
  • Support leadership through the identification of key insights and trends, and proactively communicating these to drive action.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly reporting packages to senior managers and executive leadership teams.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather insight to financial performance.
  • Job Responsibilities:
    • Respond to inquiries regarding financial results and analysis requests
    • Support the month-end, budgeting and long-range planning processes
    • Assist the FP&A Leader and Senior Analyst with projects as needed
    • Deliver regular reports with actionable insights on key business performance drivers, clearly explaining trends and outcomes.
    • Assist with financial forecasting and business planning by analyzing data and identifying opportunities for improvement.
    • Provide cross-functional recommendations grounded in solid financial analysis to drive improvements in business operations.
    Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in finance and accounting
    • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
    • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency including very strong Excel spreadsheet skills is critical
    • Prior FP&A experience (budgeting/planning, variance analysis, reporting and financial modeling)
    • Experience working with internal and external reporting, preferred.
