Exciting Opportunity: Associate/Senior Associate, Private Equity Portfolio Operations - Finance

We are seeking a motivated Associate/Senior Associate to support our Operating Team. This role offers high visibility, significant travel, and direct involvement with portfolio companies throughout each assignment.

About the Role & Firm:

  • Strategic Impact: Lead the Finance-related F100 Day Value Creation plan, spearheading strategic financial and operational improvement projects.
  • Key Functions: Establish and enhance the organization's Finance, Accounting, Treasury, and Tax functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support financial and operational improvement projects
  • Conduct FP&A and financial modeling
  • Drive strategic planning and budgeting processes
  • Execute transformation plans immediately after acquisition
  • Create clear and impactful presentations
  • Perform market, company, and competitor research
  • Structure and analyze data to draw insights about key business drivers
  • Complete ad-hoc projects, analysis, and other duties as assigned
  • Convince C-Level and Finance leaders to plan, execute, and measure key initiatives

Requirements:

  • BA or BS with an excellent academic record; major in Engineering, Statistics, or Finance a plus
  • Excellent analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills
  • Prior financial modeling experience
  • Entrepreneurial, creative self-starter; able to work independently with limited direction
  • High learning agility; able to quickly get up to speed on new industries and areas
  • Strong project management, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • 3-7 years of experience at an accounting/consulting firm or a Fortune 500 company
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; VBA and Tableau experience a plus
