Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized Processor to support the Lead Advisor and financial team in efficiently managing the paperwork and processes associated with financial planning products and services, including underwriting for risk-basedproducts. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, ensuring that all life insurance processes are set up correctly, client physical exams are scheduled, and direct communication with clients and underwriters is maintained throughout. This role offers the opportunity to work in a small office setting, with the ability to take on additional tasks and contribute to the overall flow of the office when needed.

Reports to: Associate AdvisorDirect Reports: NoneArea of Focus: Managing the documentation for financial planning products, investment transfers, life insurance setup, and insurance underwriting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage New Business & Service Processes: Oversee day-to-day processes related to investment and insurance products, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Process New Business Paperwork: Handle all paperwork for new business, including form completion for investments, insurance applications, and processing investment transfers and life insurance underwriting.
  • Life Insurance Setup & Coordination: Work directly with clients and underwriters to ensure proper setup of life insurance policies, coordinate client physical exams, and ensure that all necessary steps are completed.
  • Client Communication: Maintain communication with clients throughout the process, providing updates on the status of their insurance applications and physical exams.
  • Maintain Client Files: Ensure client files are maintained accurately and in compliance with firm and broker/dealer standards.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Keep the client service coordinator, paraplanner, and Associate Advisor informed on ongoing processes (e.g., underwriting status, investment transfer progress).
  • Assist with Training & Workflow Documentation: Contribute to creating and updating training manuals and workflows related to investment, advisory, and insurance paperwork processing.
  • Provide Backup Support: Act as a backup for the office coordinator in answering phones, addressing client inquiries, and handling walk-in client traffic as needed.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Support the acquisition of new business and the servicing of existing accounts and financial plans.

Qualifications:

  • Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial services or related field.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in coordinating life insurance setup and client interactions.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to various roles within the office, especially in a small office setting.
  • Highly organized, with excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in working directly with clients and underwriters, ensuring all insurance steps are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, database software, and broker/dealer systems.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills for professional communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with financial planning software such as Money Guide Pro, eMoney, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and contribute to a positive office atmosphere.
