This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional who thrives in a challenging, rewarding environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing internal and external financial reporting, including Form 10-K and 10-Q, and will have an in-depth understanding of US GAAP accounting principles. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and professionalism.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required; CPA license or master's degree a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial reporting and general ledger accounting.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting principles.
  • Experience with SEC filings, including Form 10-K and 10-Q.
  • Must have knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Strong problem-solving and analysis skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Oracle and Workiva or equivalent financial software.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Assist in the preparation of SEC filings, including Form 10-K and 10-Q.
  • Prepare balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
  • Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
  • Collaborate with the other finance department managers to support overall department goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Advise staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.
  • Respond to inquiries from the director of finance, and other finance and firm-wide managers regarding financial results, special reporting requests, etc.
  • Work with the controller to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit.
  • Support budget and forecasting activities.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
  • Interact at all levels of the organization to lead and support financial and operational initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements.
