  • Establish contact with borrowers to discuss delinquencies and offer available solutions
  • Locate/skip-trace borrowers using state of the art skip-tracing tools combined with internet access
  • Record accurate and detailed notes, update account status and borrowers' information
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals, deadlines, and objectives.
  • Adhere to consumer protection laws and FHC's standard practices and policies.
Position Requirements Competencies
  • Must possess excellent verbal negotiation, customer service and communication skills
  • Well organized, results driven, and able to work in a high volume and fast-paced office environment
  • Ability to resolve challenging situations calmly and professionally
  • Excellent time management
  • Applicants may be required to pass a background check.
  • Ability to work required full time schedule; 3 shifts 8am-4:30pm and 2 shifts 11:30am-8pm per week.
  • Attendance and punctuality are a must. Reliable transportation is required.

Physical/Mental Demands
  • Physical Demands - While performing the duties of this role, an employee is frequently required to sit, talk, or hear, in person and by telephone; use hands to operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk and to lift and carry reports and records weighing up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Mental Demands - While performing the duties of this role, employees are regularly required to use written and oral communication skills; read and interpret data, information, and documents; analyze and solve problems; observe and interpret situations; learn and apply new information or skills; perform highly detailed work on multiple, concurrent tasks; work under intensive deadlines; and interact with vendors and staff in the course of work.
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Basic proficiency with Internet Explorer, Microsoft Excel and Word, Outlook email, and Adobe Acrobat
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in Debt Collection, Sales, Telephone Customer Service, Telemarketing, Banking, Financial Services, Call Center, or Administrative preferred, but not required
Security Clearance Requirements
  • May be required to pass Federal background screening and/or state level criminal background screening.
