Fingerprint Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fingerprint Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for capturing and processing fingerprint data for various identification and background check purposes. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent time management abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer support. Proficiency in clerical tasks and computerized systems is essential for maintaining accurate records and ensuring efficient operations.

Duties

  • Capture high-quality fingerprints using specialized equipment while ensuring the comfort of clients.
  • Process fingerprint data accurately and efficiently in compliance with established protocols.
  • Maintain organized files and records of fingerprint submissions and results.
  • Provide front desk support, including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and scheduling appointments.
  • Assist with clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and managing documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to fingerprinting procedures.
  • Manage time effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in criminal justice or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure timely processing of fingerprint requests.
  • Previous experience in customer support or front desk roles is preferred.
  • Proficiency in computerized systems for data entry and record keeping.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clients.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks performed.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
