Valdese Weavers offers a positive, productive, and progressive environment, along with excellent benefits.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Perform the following duties according to ISO 9001 work instructions and standards: Determine cloth to be plated and pull order according to tickets. Arrange tickets to match the order in which fabric is sewn together Pull cloth tightly between pins and sew together in straight seams, preventing bow and bias. Make sure fabric goes through frame and folds into buggy or rolls unto T frame without getting twisted. If fabric becomes twisted or something happens to the rollers at the top of the plater, use the ladder provided to reach and correct the problem. Move fabric to next process. Position Requirements EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND SKILLS NEEDED TO PERFORM JOB: Basic reading, writing, and math skills. Be able to follow special instructions and directions. Good physical condition because heavy lifting is required. Forklift license is required for moving buggies and lifting fabric to storage tubes.
