Responsibilities:
Lead, coordinate, and monitor the work of others who perform the same type of work as this job.Train and check the work of others, ensuring supplies and materials are available.Operate casting equipment in a safe manner at all times.Monitor equipment in your area of responsibility for adverse conditions and advise supervision of these conditions.Complete knowledge of finish cell general labor and x-ray jobs.Ensure all cells are run at rate.Provide proper training, proper use of PPE, and ensure safety.Relieve line for breaks.Work hand in hand with cast lead.Participate in regular follow-up training and competency evaluation annually.Follow any other instructions and perform any other duties upon request of the supervisor.Participate in classes and training seminars to learn new technologies and techniques deemed helpful to performance on the job.Other duties as assigned.Requirements:
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required.Skills, Knowledge and Competencies:Team player.Demonstrated leadership capabilities.Strong interpersonal communication skills.Ability to become certified as an X-Ray Reader (120 hours).Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Works in a fast-paced environment under minimum supervision.Routine responsibilities involve the use of various procedures and the application of clearly prescribed standards of practice, requiring the use of good judgment.Must work with a high degree of accuracy.Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, with frequent exposure to loud noise.Able to lift up to 50 pounds.Standing 70%-80% of the time; walking, bending, crouching, twisting, and reaching required.No travel required to fulfill this position.Health, Safety and Environmental:
