Fintech Payment Solutions Principal
The Fintech Payment Solutions Principal is responsible for leading requirements sessions to understand and analyze business goals, capture business requirements, create detailed designs, and participate in the overall project to ensure that payment platforms and systems developed will meet business needs. Fintech Payment Solutions Principal will work cross-functionally with several teams within the company to ensure all stakeholders are represented. The expertise and work effort primarily focuses on using their in-depth knowledge and experience to identify, understand, solve complex issues, and improve products or services.
What You'll Do:
Apply knowledge, best practices, and expertise of business analysis concepts, principles, and techniques to gather, document and manage business requirements.
Lead requirements gathering sessions with subject matter experts and development teams to review and document system requirements.
Create high-quality requirements documentation within specified time frames to solve business problems.
Collaborate with Treasury, Compliance, Internal Audit, Technical Leads, Business Subject Matter Experts, Product Management and Quality Control to ensure requirements acceptance.
Work closely with project managers and lead BA to prepare project plans and deliver status reports related to assigned tasks.
Understand strategic direction and operational performance needs of the organization.
Offer advice on process improvements and technical solutions.
What You'll Bring:
7+ years of business analysis experience and ability to translate business functionality and opportunities into clear, precise and easy-to-read functional specifications.
Experience with all payment types including card payments, payment gateways, ACH, lockbox, wire transfers, PayPal and BAI data is preferred.
Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle – preferably Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Six Sigma Blackbelt.
Strong communication including written, oral, and presentation skills.
Has a high sense of ownership and responsibility to ensure work quality and high level of initiative while driving continuous improvements in methods and processes.
Ability to understand complex business challenges, come up with solutions, and handle complex ad hoc requests.
Ability to deliver high quality documentation with great attention to detail.
Knowledge of payments or merchant services industry is desirable.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Microsoft Visio (preferred).

The starting base pay is $117,200.00 to $157,500.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, Company finances, and other operational considerations.Benefits Include:
