DescriptionTorgeson Electric Company is currently seeking individuals looking to join the fire alarm and special systems industry for commercial projects.Scope of WorkFire Alarm/HVAC Controls Technicians are able to install a fully functioning Fire Alarm and/or HVAC Controls System. Some traveling required to job sites in northeast Kansas.PayBased on experience. $1500 signing bonus.Hours40 or more per weekTransportationTravel allowance provided, if requiredLodgingProvided if requiredReq. Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment, (fit to work physical) and drug testing.Other Reqs- Ability to effectively Communicate- Follow safety policies and procedures at all times.- PPE required for all duties.Duties & TasksYou will work with one of our fire alarm/HVAC controls foreman and receive on the job trainingTasks would include running conduit, wire/cable installation, device installation, troubleshooting, and system testingIf seeking a foreman position, must have 3+ years of experience, have worked with multiple system brands and have a minimum NICET level 2 certification for fire alarmOSHA 10 required (reimbursement available upon completion)Fill out daily pre-job safety plan for the work that will be performedBasic electrical knowledge preferred but not requiredTorgeson Electric Company is an equal opportunity employer.
