What you will do
This person will be performing the required duties for completion of installation related tasks for electronic product lines and standard electronic systems.
How you will do it
- Candidates will work a 7:00 – 3:30 shift with a 30-minute lunch break. (40-hours a week plus overtime as required.)
- Helping with installation of electronic systems, including start up through final testing. Follow verbal and written instruction, read, and understand complex construction blueprints, diagrams and specifications used in installation activities.
- Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 40 pounds. Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet or more.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area. Pick up and properly dispose of all trash associated with work.
- Wear appropriate safety equipment as required, including but not limited to hard hats and work boots. May be required to work alternate shifts or weekends to meet customer installation requirements.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- Daily submission of required paperwork.
What we look for
Required
- Texas Fire Alarm License required.
- 3 to 5 years of commercial fire alarm installation experience.
- High School Diploma
- Follow verbal and written instructions, read, and understand complex construction blueprints, diagrams and specifications used in installation activities.
- Support sales as needed.
- Read prints and specs.
- Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
- Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
- Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly.
