Job Description :
Lowndes is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our law firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and clerical tasks, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, and supporting the overall financial operations of the firm. Please see below for more information:Essential Functions:
  • Enter financial data into the accounting software
  • Record financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Generate financial reports as requested
  • Prepare and process invoices, bills, and checks
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Communicate with attorneys regarding payment status, invoices and general inquires.
  • Assist with filing, copying, and other administrative tasks as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
At least one year of experience of working in an accounting department is required.Experience using Aderant or law firm experience is highly preferred.
