Lowndes is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our law firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and clerical tasks, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, and supporting the overall financial operations of the firm. - Enter financial data into the accounting software
- Record financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
- Generate financial reports as requested
- Prepare and process invoices, bills, and checks
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Communicate with attorneys regarding payment status, invoices and general inquires.
- Assist with filing, copying, and other administrative tasks as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
At least one year of experience of working in an accounting department is required.Experience using Aderant or law firm experience is highly preferred.
