This position provides ambulance billing and timekeeping support functions within the Administration division. The Fire Support Technician is responsible for maintaining confidential medical billing and files and will help settle accounts by phone or correspondence to collect past due accounts and provide customer service to the public. This position prepares personnel action forms, audits time between scheduling and timekeeping software, and responds to employee inquiries about recording time.
