First Assistant Nurse Job Description:
  • Assist surgeons during procedures by providing exposure, hemostasis, and other technical functions.
Credentials:
  • Current RN license in New York State
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • CNOR and CRNFA (Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant) certifications preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of first assistant nursing experience
Weekly Pay Range:
  • Entry-Level (0-2 years): $2,600 - $2,800
  • Mid-Level (3-5 years): $2,800 - $3,000
  • Senior-Level (6+ years): $3,000 - $3,200
