First Shift Facilities Maintenance Technician - Barrett Petfood : Job Details

Purpose: The purpose of the maintenance Technician position is to provide General Building and Construction work, and grounds maintenance at the Barrett Petfood Facilities. Attributes:

• Capable of lifting 50 lbs
• Able to obtain Forklift certification
• Welding experience beneficial, not mandatory
• Adheres to GMPs and safety protocols
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Proficient with computers
• Collaborative team player, effective communicator with group/shift

Responsibilities:

• Complete facility maintenance activity to ensure compliance with proper food safety regulations and requirements.
• Grounds maintenance such as snow removal and lawncare as needed.
• General building construction work
• Familiar with production equipment
• Understand Lock-Out-Tag-Out
• Electrically inclined, understanding single & 3 phase
• Safely handle power tools
