In pursuit of SPSCC and the SPSCC Foundation's shared mission to support student success, the SPSCC Foundation has established Foundation Enterprises LLCs ( the LLCs ) to support education and training in the College's craft beverage programs. What You'll Do LLC Fiscal Support & Regulatory Reporting
  • Perform specialized accounting activities for the LLCs including data entry of income and expenses, sending and tracking invoices using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
  • Manage monthly bank account reconciliations and prepare and post monthly journals entries
  • Prepare, compile and provide fiscal reports such as year-end reports, budgetary reports, and auditing reports
  • Compile, prepare for review, and submit required business reporting to local, state and federal agencies as required
  • Prepare and submit quarterly and tax filings for all LLCs
  • Assist with preparing the annual tax return filings for all LLCs
  • Track and manage credit card activity for the LLCs, including monitoring transactions, reconciling statements and preparing monthly payments
  • Monitor and report status of LLC budgets and available balances to LLC and Foundation managers
  • Work with Director of Business, Craft Brewing and Distilling, and Tumwater Falls Laboratory Manager to develop LLC budgets including forecasting fiscal needs and commitments, analyzing income and expense data, and making revenue projections
  • Coordinate fiscal procedures for LLC fiscal operations and make recommendations for improving existing procedures and services
  • Access database software systems (i.e. EKOS, Distill by 5, Laboratory Information Management) for all LLCs to calculate proper billing amounts and invoice totals
  • Assist with reports, data collection, and preparation of required federal and state reporting for review, approval, and submission by Director of Business, CraftBrewing and Distilling
  • Assist in reconciling billing for LLC activity within the college's ctcLink accounting system
SPSCC Foundation Fiscal Support
  • Assist with reports and data collection for the Foundation's annual audit
  • Track and manage credit card activity for the Foundation, including monitoringtransactions, reconciling statements and preparing monthly payments
  • Assist in reconciling billing for college program activity within the college's ctcLink accounting system
  • Related duties as assigned by the Director of Finance and Operations
Qualifications You Possess Minimum Qualifications
  • Positions typically require a Bachelor's degree, which includes 18 quarter or 12 semester hours in accounting, auditing, or budgeting AND two to three years of relevant professional experience. Professional experience may substitute for education.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks, maintain office confidentiality and accommodate numerous interruptions.
  • Position requires high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others and function as a team member.
  • Advanced knowledge of computers and software applications, specifically QuickBooks and MS Office suite.
