FISHERIES TECHNICIAN 8-E10 - State of Michigan : Job Details

Perform fisheries management support activities to protect, develop, and maintain fish species for recreational and environmental purposes. Collect angler, fish, and habitat data, compile and enter data into computers, operate and maintain fisheries equipment and facilities, and assist with fish rearing and stocking. Collaborate and communicate with other resource professionals and maintain favorable relationships with the public. Engage in intra/interdivisional cooperation and assistance. Position Description Must possess or be able to obtain within six months of hire a class B Commercial Drivers License with tanker endorsement and without air brake restriction . Acquiring and maintaining a valid CDL is a condition of employment. Must obtain a commercial Pesticide Applicators license within 12 months of hire.
