Job DetailsJob Details:Our company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fixed Assets and Lease Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This role will be responsible for managing a wide range of accounting tasks, including month-end close, quarter-end close, capital project accounting, JDE lease, purchasing, intercompany accounts reconciliation, financial reporting, SEC footnotes, capital expenditures, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in project accounting. Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the entire fixed assets lifecycle, from acquisition to disposal.
• Perform month-end and quarter-end close processes accurately and within deadlines.
• Maintain and update the company's capital project accounting and provide accurate financial reports.
• Manage JDE lease and purchasing activities while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Reconcile intercompany accounts and perform intercompany transactions accurately and promptly.
• Prepare and present financial reports in accordance with SEC regulations, including footnotes.
• Monitor and track capital expenditures, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy.
• Collaborate with other members of the finance team to improve financial processes and policies.
• Participate in special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in project accounting.
• Proficient in JDE lease and purchasing.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including month-end and quarter-end close processes.
• Experience in capital project accounting and intercompany transactions.
• Familiarity with SEC regulations and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent computer skills, particularly with accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
