Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting a Product Associate to join our Institutional Client Group. The Product Associate will play a key role in supporting the technical servicing and sales efforts necessary in managing client relationships, providing exceptional service, and driving business growth. The Product Associate will analyze complex topics and communicate the findings clearly for a wide variety of audiences.

Responsibilities

Working in close collaboration with a Client Portfolio Manager and team members throughout the Institutional Client Group:

  • Produce written commentaries to help professionals in our Institutional Client Group, Client Service, and Marketing teams assess and communicate various aspects of our clients' portfolios.
  • Assist with compiling presentations, investment proposals, and performance reports for client meetings, prospect meetings, and other internal and external engagements.
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc analyses to support client service and marketing.
  • Run quantitative portfolio, performance, and competitive analyses for existing and prospective investment strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including, but not limited to, Portfolio Management, Client Services, Report Servicing, Marketing, and Risk and Compliance to address client needs and deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Engage in ad-hoc projects requested or assigned by management.
  • Qualifications

You will want to develop excellent communication skills and strategic thinking. You thrive working in, and learning in, a team-based and collaborative environment.

    We are seeking candidates with:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience.
  • Data fluency and ability to discern data errors or irregularities.
  • Ability to clearly articulate insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with a statistical coding language (i.e., R or Matlab) is a plus.
  • Background with eVestment Alliance is a plus.
  • Knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and industry regulations is a plus.
  • Salary Range

    $90,000-$100,000

    BBH's compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
