Fixed Route Driver - JCSI : Job Details

Job Title: Fixed Route Driver (CDL Required) – Full-Time

Location: Vehicle Pick-Up/Drop-Off at 415 N. Zarfoss Dr., York, PA

Compensation:

• Starting Pay: $22.50 per hour
• Increase to $25.00 per hour after 90 days ofsolo driving
• Weekly paycheck

Position Overview:Join rabbittransit and make a difference in your community by providing safe, reliable transportation. As a Fixed Route Driver, you will help passengers access essential services and ensure they arrive at their destinations comfortably and on time. Our drivers play a vital role in promoting mobility and independence for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport passengers along pre-determined routes with professionalism and courtesy
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
• Maintain accurate trip logs, fare records, and other documentation
• Assist passengers with mobility aids, including wheelchairs
• Operate fare collection equipment and account for collected fares
• Use radio communication systems for coordination and updates
• Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
• Other duties as assigned by the Operations Supervisor or Site Manager

Qualifications:

• CDL Class A or B with Passenger Endorsement (P) and Air Brake Restriction Lifted (No “L”, “Z”, or “N” restrictions)(If you do not meet these qualifications, consider applying for our Non-CDL Driver position.)
• Availability: Flexible schedule required to work during operating hours:
  • Saturday & Sunday: 4:30 AM – 11:30 PM
  • Monday – Friday: 4:30 AM – 12:15 AMYour shifts will fall within these time ranges based on operational needs.
