Job ID: 684244BR Date posted: Jan. 29, 2025 Description:Replaces defective lamps, bulbs, tubes, and/or starters in plant electrical lighting fixtures; cleans all types of lighting fixtures and other electrical equipment such a reflectors, diffusers, lamps, and bulbs, including incandescent, fluorescent, mercury vapor, metal halide, low pressure sodium, high pressure sodium, and other special types of fixtures; selects proper method and solvent for such cleaning operations using all required safety equipment provided by the Company.Notifies Maintenance Electricians or Supervision of any defective lighting that cannot be remedied by replacement or cleaning as described above.Provides assistance to Maintenance Electricians when so assigned.Must be able to work at various heights and demonstrate a working knowledge of general electrical safety.Must have basic familiarity in the electrical field, and meet the physical requirements of the job (walking, standing, lifting {35 pounds}).Basic Qualifications:Experience with elementary electrical and knowledge of electricity, such as being able to recognize proper sizes and voltages of replacement parts such as tubes, lamps, bulbs and starters and general electrical safety Experience with various types of lighting, and lighting control, in a commercial/industrial setting.Desired Skills:Manlift, scissor lift, or boom lift operation knowledge.Formal electrical training and/or an appropriate combination of education and field experience OR be able to demonstrate an acceptable amount of field experience necessary to meet the basic qualifications of the job.Electrical course completion certificate.NFPA 70E knowledge.State electrical license.Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: SecretOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday offThe base range for this position in California is $24.24 - $28.74.
