Job Description: Stipend Coach - Flagline/ Color Guard

* Position Type: Extra Duties Stipends/Coach

SALARY: Stipend

Qualifications: Application Procedures:

* Certificate verifying completion of the NFHS online Band Safety course

* Certificate verifying completion of the NFHS online Concussion in Sports - What You Need to Know course

* Current Certification in CPR or Certificate verifying completion of the NFHS online CPR and AED training course

* Certificate verifying completion of the NFHS online Heat Illness Prevention course

* An Arizona Teaching Certificate, Arizona Coaching Certificate OR content area related degree

* Knowledge of essential skills, techniques, rules and safety concerns for the Performing Arts Activity to be coached

* Skill in communicating with all stakeholders

* In depth knowledge necessary to adhere to rules set out by ABODA (www. and Peoria Unified School District #11 and to advise staff as needed of rules

* Attendance of mandatory school district meetings and aligned trainings

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

* Must possess or obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

* Must be able to pass a background clearance check.

* Registration at National Federation of State High School Associations ( ) for training

* Must be able to obtain and maintain an Arizona driver's license as driving students to and from competitions may be required.

* May be required to work outside normal working hours

* May be required to travel to perform work functions

* Must establish a sense of comradery among our students through teambuilding, fundraising, service projects, etc.

SELECTION PROCESS: Selected candidates will be required to participate in an interview process.
