Flex Security Officer - Port of Tacoma : Job Details

These positions are responsible for the protection of life and property throughout the Port area and the immediate environment and are proprietary security officers authorized to carry a firearm charged with the safety, security and protection of port personnel, its stakeholders and all properties in accordance with federal, state and local laws. In addition, these positions must follow all security, traffic and safety rules and regulations and engage in support activities to first responders. Flex Security positions are entitled to paid time off and health and welfare benefits in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. They are assigned to a flexible watch shift within their 40-hour workweek.
