Insitu has an immediate need for a Flight Test Operator Operator / Maintainer on aircraft and gear working within the Flight Operations department on Engineering, Post-production, and Training gear. Member will be required to conduct flight evolutions in Pendleton or Boardman airspace multiple times a week to support company needs. The ability to hold and maintain a medical clearance for government required programs is mandatory for this role, and to hold multiple qualifications and be able to use them will be needed. If applicant does not live local must be willing to relocation. Will be assigned to multiple projects and must be able to keep on task is expected. Have the ability to be certified as an Operator and Maintainer on multiple platforms. Will oversee projects, must be able to track progress and report results to leadership. Qualified candidates will have the ability to work with a team on projects, as well as being a sustainable team member. Self motivated, minimal supervision is provided to this role. The qualified candidate would be able to complete tasks correctly and in a timely manner. Ability to learn new technology and maintain qualifications across family of systems is essential for members of the IFO team. Exercises latitude in determining strategies and approaches to assignments based on procedures, goals, and objectives is given to members of this team. Qualified candidates must have: Education and Experience Associates Degree in Aviation Field, Military Aviation Experience, or 2-3 years of practical knowledge and experience working with Insitu unmanned systems or comparable combination of education and experience. Preferred experience: A working expertise with Insitu tracking programs and library documentation is preferred. FAA certifications (Pilot or A&P), an understanding of FCC license, deployed time or production experience are preferred but not required to fill this role. Ability to obtain a Secret DoD clearance. An extensive understanding of flight characteristics of Insitu family of systems of aircraft. Use in the IMUSE and ICOMC2 operating systems for multiple configurations of aircraft as well as understanding of how these affect the engineering efforts they support. Apply today!
