FLOATER CUSTODIAN - Full Time

Floater Custodian covers various sites for employee absences at any time. This a full time, 40 hours per week and year round position with benefits. Must be dependable and flexible. The working days are Monday through Friday, and will be scheduled for the day shift or evening shift. Must be able to maintain a flexible schedule and adjust to last minute changes in order to provide adequate coverage as needed.

DUTIES REQUIRED INCLUDE:

* Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and polishing floors

* Removing trash and other refuse

* Dusting equipment, furniture and fixtures

* Clean, sanitize and deodorize restrooms, showers

* Shoveling snow

* Checking lights, windows, doors, boilers and securing buildings

* Performs routine minor maintenance

* Observe and report needed repair of equipment, furnishings, fixtures, building and site

* Maintaining a safe work environment by complying with company policy

QUALIFICATONS:

* High School diploma or equivalent required

* Experience required

* Ability to perform repetitive tasks requiring moderate strength

* Ability to lift 50 lbs, push, pull, stand, bend, kneel.

* Present a well-groomed appearance

* Available to work any shift

* Ability to read instructions

* Ability to make decisions and exercise good judgment

* Professional references must be provided

* Must have basic level of computer skills
